Sebring founded in 1912 and is nicknamed "The City on the Circle" owing to the Downtown historic district area - Circle Drive and is domindated by Lake Jackson.
It is home of the famour Sebring International Raceway, first used in 1950 and hosted the 1959 Formula One United Grand Prix. Currently is best known as the host of the annual Le Mans series race - 12 Hours of Sebring in March.
Closeby is Highlands Hammock State Park - with orange groves and cypress swamp trails. Watch for white-tailed deer and catch a popular and informative ranger guided tram tour.
