The area around Juno beach consists mainly of golf courses and retirement communities but it is worth stopping at Juno Beach. Highway A1A follows the coast and park your car at Juno Beach Park.
This is one of the world's most productive nesting sites for Loggerhead turtle so make time to visit the Loggerhead Marinelife Centre at 14200 U.S. Highway One, Juno Beach. The facility houses a variety of exhibits such as live sea turtles and coastal creatures, a massive prehistoric Archelon sea turtle replica, salt water aquaria and displays of the local wildlife and marine environment.
You can follow the path through the undeisturbed sand dunes to the beach and watch the turtles as they come ashore to lay eggs at night - only in June and July. You must make a reservation for this tour.
